Hii Anna, what happen i gave ac supply for SCR gate and i need triac for 60amps withstandibility but it didn't available in market. So i use 2 antiparallem connection of SCR (S6055) for softstarter circuit. In triac i use MOC30xx for trigger the triac but in scr how can i trigger it? Pls give clear definition for my query anna

how much value of current are using latching and holding scr and triac

You have to check the datasheet. Latching Current is three or four times greater than Holding Current.

Can we use SCR instead of MOSFET? And, can we use it for voltage regulation?

Question 1: it depends on the application. I have used both in my rechargable battery monitoring system. Question 2: it is still being used for voltage stabilization circuits. Example: crowbar circuit.

BJT, igbt and power mosfet in all three kv rated devices are available. You have to select according to your application requires.

Can i use 16a 800v triac instead of 4a 800v triac (bt139 800 instead of t410 800t

It depends on your application. If it drives maximum 4amps only then you can use.
