Excellent job as always. I tin the new connector pins with a bit of solder to give me a little extra cushion for connection. Just a suggestion, I was getting nervous with that second reheat on a sandwich board. 😅

Superb job sir! This is probably my phone's problem. It vibrates and sems to be working but the screen is black. Before going black the screen started being unresponsive and flickering... Then it shows jammed image, then stopped working. But I am too scared to try to replace the connector.😢

Well I'm not such a solderexpert as you but I think I can say I have 4 decades of expierience. What I learned I think that it is very important not to stirr or vibrate de solder during solidifying. it will appear as a dull surface and is much more britle. I remelt dull solderjoints.

I have a problem with my A21s now. ive done the old connnector out and bought 5 connectors to try myself again...... so the problem is using flux the connector wouldnt bound with the fresh applied solder. i heated the board some minutes before placing the new connector. Anyone any tips?

he said he was using 180°C low melt solder, so probably around 200°C

​@@modorangeorge4991 true but still regular pb solder melt around 180-190 when i search for fabric soldering it give this : Solder Temp.:235±5℃ Duration: 5±0.5sec i guess this is the safest temperature) but on my Tinol it giving 190 temperature of melting but suggestion is 340 - 420°C
