How much does a PSU like this cost? I'd recommend US-nano for any nanoparticles you are thinking of testing.

why viscosity should be low when we use water as a solvent for pvp

What should be the solvent system when we use PVP as the polymer? Would like to see the electrospinning process for Hyaluronic Acid + PVP. Can we use Ethanol+ Water as the solvent system for the same?
@sprucescience

PVP is soluble in water and other polar solvents such as methanol and ethanol. The substance attracts and holds water from its surroundings. It can readily absorbs up to 40% of water by its weight.

Interesting suggestion! Sure, we will give it a try but need to order some ZnO first. Do you know a good source?

Spruce fast forawrd here....see what you say? 4:29 "Proper grounding is important" " make a earth ground connection you say....? Are you literally connecting that cord to earth? what does earth ground mean?, please if you could kindly answer brother, thank u,
@sprucescience
@sprucescience 3 жыл бұрын
Hello Elijah! It is indeed an independent ground connection to the earth. It can be a solid electrode driven deep into the ground or if there's copper water piping then that works as well. The purpose is to send the rush current through an independent ground path in case of an arc or an electrical short. Clearly defining earth ground for the apparatus is done for safety purposes and it also help protect electronics. You can read more about it here. Enjoy! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground_%28electricity%29

@@sprucescience yea , i appreciate answer i asked because old school english from 1700 books , like English french classics spoke of pumping electrical fluid from the earth into their devices glass, metal chains etc etc . during spinning(frictional electricity) spinning glass english theory was quantity of electrical fluid comes from earth into their device during friction spin,of glass and rubber and they "play with it etc. amazing history most books on archive org from electrical experiments from the 1700-to maybe 1790s speak of this archaic form of electrical philosophy, its absolutely amazing , it would be called Frictional electricity , my advice if you embark,....the english perspective is absolutely correct(during this time))), my solidity of course comes from esoteric Chinese Indian metaphysics , which i recommend you study in your free time

so the purpose of making n95 by this technique is that small particles like bacteria and viruses have different sizes at a pico leavel and pvp material has not a regular pattern like any other cloth it has a random pattern like spider web having many layers ok... So 50 percent of particals can't enter the mask because of the pattern. after this you know Electrospinning cause long term electrification ... And any charged body attract a oppositely charged body as well as a neutral body .... After the Brownian motion of particals these particles are so small that they flows with air ..... And escapes out ... But due to charge present in the pvp these particles attract towards it and stick there .... its like a glue trap...👍👍👍👍👍👍
