The options given in the question in which we have to find the equivalent dielectric const. to be inserted, in that question none of the options are correct . U say its (D) but the option should be K= ----- but not 1/K= ----

the answer at 31:46 is -y because in question you said q0=-q/2 so the net force is along -y direction and displacement is in +y direction or vice versa. this is from JEE main 2013 . In original question q0=q/2 so y is correct but in your question as q0=-q/2 answer is -y

That SHM question b should be the correct answer...... SHM..... a directly proportional to (-y)... Hence F also

In second ques why volume of sphere is taken 4πr^2 not 4/3πr^3

because when you differentiate 4/3πr^3 w.r.t r, we get 4/3π(3r^2), hence we get 4πr^2dr

You are right but he has blindly wrote the answer. Actually it's a 2013 mains question where q0 is +q/2. In this question given in video the charge undergoes SHM

No 'rho ' is constant there .. because rho = charge/vol ....if r changes vol changes also charge but ratio b/n them always constant. So happily u can take rho outside of the integral .

Sir in the net force directly proportional to what question, the force is opposite to the displacement .so should be proportional to -y naa

In the second question, how do we know that the charge density itself isn't a function of r. Also the application of Gauss' Law is done wrongly here as that would work only if the distance between two adjacent equipotential surfaces is dr(infinitesimally small) and the question doesn't mention anything of that sort.

Sir in the second last question the answer will be B for sure...D can't be the right answer. C1(dielectric constant k1) and C2 are in parallel and their equivalent is in series with C3... I'm 100% sure.

That SHM question you have shown needs attention.. the value of q0 is -q/2 not +q/2 so its proportional to -y not y ... or else how will it execute SHM ??
