Converting to C is recommended but you can leave it like that only if you use the correct unit e.g nC . Coz if you say -1 C instead of -1nC then your wrong.

It doesn't matter, just know that when you use either one, if you get a positive answer in the end, for number of electrons then write that, if you get a negative answer for it, you have to change it. But I'd say play it safe and use it with a negative. Doesn't really matter but yea. Bro I'm also studying now, it's so late

Just know which one to use depending on the given situation But make sure that your number of electrons is positive even of you got a negative number, remove the negative sign

Change your calculator to scientific notation after the calculation .Don't forget to change it back to normal afterwards
