What is a silver property option and where do you buy it ?
@theodoremcintosh63733 жыл бұрын
An option on a property is a private agreement between the buyer and seller. Generally, the optionee (buyer) has the right (not the obligation) to purchase the property at an agreed upon price on or before an agreed upon date.

Several thoughts 1. How can any investor be correct so many times on such high risk commodity investments? He won on silver, gold, art and oil. There has to be more to this story. 2. Hard to believe this guy has been married for 30 years. 3. Once again David Rubenstein, who has a very likeable personality but is a terrible interviewer, only asked softball questions. As a result, these interviews have turned into an public relations advertisement.

What on earth is option property?? I understand options and commodity futures but what is an option property?
@cyrusfryback68072 жыл бұрын
It gives you the right to buy the property if there is anything on it. If not, your option expires worthless

It's a little puzzlling to me that someone that has made his fortune by exploiting the environment (hydrocarbons and silver mining) talks with such passion about preserving the very thing he's been instrumental in destroying... Oh, let me get really wealthy by helping destroy something so I can help preserve it via my indeed very selfless philanthropy. EGO personified.
