most of Cyprus was greek , then it became a multinational center after conflicts and staff like that, and now it is as it is.. However I have met people from Cyprus and it is more likely to be greeks than anything else. I dont think that greek people try to lie the world when saying that Cyprus is greek , since it actually was! no offense
