@@tonycarretti2872 It was a great idea to create such original graphic and make it as easy as possible for the people who don't master Affinity Photo yet. Keep up the good work!

If someone hasn't already suggested - you could use machro for the repetitive work

You're absolutely correct! The paradox is that I'm too lazy to create a macro... Lol... I know, silly right?!
@tjphoto8943Ай бұрын
Was following along but when you came to the part of move/Duplicate. I was lost. My guess is you knew the key stroke to pop that up. I looked all over and could not find that in the menu. Not saying it isn’t there but didn’t notice it. This is my first video of yours trying something new. I think the way you express using this made it sound you use move duplicate in other videos. I hope you don’t mind positive criticism. But I think you can’t assume people have been following since video one. It is nice to assume that this is someone first video watching and each step you take they may not know how to do what you are doing.
@tonycarretti2872Ай бұрын
I’m so sorry that I didn’t make it more clear. All you have to do to invoke the Move/Duplicate tool is to have the layer you want to affect selected and make sure that you have the “arrow” tool on the left chosen. Then all you do is hit “Enter” and it will automatically bring up the move/duplicate dialog box. Hope that helps! Thanks for the heads up!! Also, thanks for taking the time to watch!

Great. Isn’t this asking for a macro? Would make it easier. But I am impressed!
@tonycarretti2872Ай бұрын
Well, after reading your comment I had to go and try... Unfortunately, when recording the macro you can only go as far as the Move/Duplicate tool. After that, it won't allow you to record the grouping of the layers. Still, it definitely took a few steps out of the equation! Thanks so much for watching and your feedback! This is how we all get better!! Cheers!

Cool. Is it possible to go back in and adjust the gradient on the mask after the fact? I'm trying to get the bevel/shadow to look more even than it appears.
@tonycarretti2872Ай бұрын
If you mean on the shadow themselves? You could just delete the current mask layer and reapply. As long as you don't rasterize the layer you should be good to go!
@pixelrancherАй бұрын
@@tonycarretti2872 I was afraid that'd be the answer. 😂 Much appreciated.

Why do you rasterize and trim the duplicate letters?
@tonycarretti2872Ай бұрын
@@Audulf-of-Frisia Because over time, all those layers with a LayerFX on them will start to bog down your computer and make it more difficult to move things around. So, you don’t HAVE to rasterize and trim them, but you’ll be tying up resources affecting performance. Hope that helps!
