This is sooo pretty Christina. I don’t celebrate thanksgiving in Australia but I know how stressful dinner parties and family get togethers can be when you feel the pressure to have everything perfect (read match). Occasions like this would send me into hysterics wanting to go out and buy everything new. This is so elegant and easy. Love, love, love!. You’re so clever. The table is brilliant too.❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊. P.S. Hi Christina, beutiful tablescape, and the mix of various styles of chairs and benches is quirky and in the spirit of thanksgiving, all wellcome ,seat would be found for every visitor at the table. Only a tiny tip, my mum, always say that your table candles should be without scent, not to distract from the scent of the food and fresh cut flowers laid on the table, otherwise simply superb. I would have added in the mix some thin long taper candles to create the illusion of long candelabra and add heigh to your arrangement without being barrier to people seeing and talking at the table. Also candlelight always adds magic and warmth to the table, and beutiful golden glow to the faces of your guests (great picture opportunities, lol) 😊 Happy Thanksgiving 👍👍👍💟

I just really like the fact that you used what you already had. This is just beautiful! One really fun idea is to set a number card by each place setting. Then, the have the guest draw numbers and sit at that seat. I did this years ago when I had to have two tables because the crowd was too large. I didn't want anyone to feel like they were banned to the "extra" table. Now it is just fun to do because people get to know each other better!!

So beautiful. Your guests will love it! You inspired me to change my centerpiece a bit. I had it extending all the way to the ends of our long table, but I like the look of yours better. I live in the US so I won't be celebrating Thanksgiving for awhile, but my son is a PhD candidate at Simon Fraser University in BC so he is with my Canadian relatives tonight for the holiday.
