In this action-packed BATV episode host James Currie and the guides from the Adventure Birding Company go in quest of breeding painted redstarts and buff-breasted flycatchers, endangered spotted owls and the elusive elegant trogon. Another great birding episode from Cochise County, Arizona

Super video clip. The cool thing about this is that I now live here off grid. Some amazing birding right in my own yard such as Botteri's Sparrows and Cassins and Chihuhuan Ravens. SE Arizona rocks!

Outstanding episode of Birding Adventures... one of the best. I'm floored that you all can get such unbelievable quality of video from such a small camera. Thumbs up to Nikon :) . Cochise County worthy of more coverage! Thanks for posting on KZbin... makes it easier to share with friends.

This is the best birding program out there in my opinion. I would love to see yall do an episode on the Texas Attwater’s prairie-chickens. A highly endangered bird only found in East Texas. Also, the Golden Cheeked Warbler of Central Texas would be a great bird to showcase as well.

I saw my first Elegant Trogon at the Patagonia mountains and it was one of the best moment of my life! And, when I was going trogon surveys for the Tucson Audobon Society, I saw a pair defending a nest at the Ramsey Canyon Preserve and it was unbelievable! I love this channel and I am so excited to see you highlight one of the gems of Arizona. Perhaps next time youre here you can do an episode focusing on the Black-Capped Gnatcatchers of Madera Canyon! I was able to track down their nest and watch a pair of gnatcatchers raise four chicks all the way till when they fledged!

4:22 Since the "Lucy's Warbler" has a beautiful voice, why didn't you silence the music for a moment so we could hear the bird's call? Wouldn't that be reasonable? ~ It would be nice if logic were applied to the production of your videos, so that we could hear such birds. We didn't come to your videos to hear raucous music, but to appreciate the birds and scenery. Please keep that in mind, and that not all viewers are able to get out to hear and see them directly, videos being their window on the world. The infirmed, recovering, disabled or "shut-in's" do watch videos, and there is no reason why you can't share some of these birds' sounds, instead of attempting television-style "entertainment". In spite of these neglected production values, I have saved a number of your videos to my huge Arizona playlist, an organized video tour of much of the state, focused on the natural beauty, terrain and wildlife of the region, saving this and others of your videos, to the Cochise County section of my playlist, in order to share southeastern Arizona beauty with others. Thank you for sharing your excellent photography.
