The a+b smash setting has to be on or off. I can’t remember which one but it is necessary for it to work so try both. Then during the turnaround animation press and hold attack and special (whichever buttons those are for you).

I can see DK struggling right now, hell another DK player kept saying he is trash because he doesn't have the free ding dong anymore. I do hope he gets buffed in the future. I main K. Rool and don't agree he is the worst character in the game. I do think he has some good matchups.

Not gonna lie Elegants Luigi just upsets me. Just watching him fish for grabs over and over again is so lame, and that stupid down B follow up from a grab is just... not impressive. It's fun to watch for a minute and then it's just annoying lol

I guess it's all about winning and dk has so many weaknesses, it's not hard to see why elegant went for the grabs. Why shouldn't he go the easiest way? It's the game's fault how characters like Luigi were designed, I mean something like "zero to death combos" should not exist, as it works to well on many characters, also Luigi's up b is very easy to land and is not that big of a risk compared to something like let's say Jigglypuff's rest
