I do not even know where to start! You have said before that you aren’t really an artist. I think we can agree that’s untrue. I’ve seen other people’s Bob Ross attempts and they are not this! I love the way you just blended the drawer pulls right into the painting. That’s perfect. The stain you chose has enough of a warm brown undertone to warm up this piece. The way you took advantage of the shape of this piece to create the appearance of a “frame” around the painting is brilliant! I love the things you create but this has just absolutely blown me away! It’s perfect.🌸

Well that came off fantastically. Well done!! No one would ever guess that this is your first painting. And it was a perfect piece to do as the trim around looks like a frame! Really doing it in shades of Gray was the best choice and then that warm gray around it... stunning! As is your color choices and ability to follow Bob Ross so very well on your first try. Love it. From a fellow Oregonian in Yamhill county. 🥰 Oh and I did framing for twenty some years!

His voice with the background music while watching you, a blossoming artist, be inspired by him just hit me right in my heart. That gentle, wonderful man has inspired so many people over a span of decades. I love him, too! And I’d love to try some others that he has! I chose this one specifically because it was only gray tones. Especially the old stuff and they make memories that are passed down for generations and keep telling their tales. And if I can be a part of that in some small way by adding a bit of stain or paint, I just think that’s so incredible.

Ah, finally, someone who actually paints on these furniture pieces. That is such a beautiful winter scene. I’ve been waiting to see one like this. Wonderful. If for any reason it doesn’t sell as is, do you think the cabinet would contrast better in a cool, dark charcoal gray? You said you never painted before, but wow, please keep painting, by all means, you have a lot of talent... and you’re possibly the only one doing it. Do some with animals and natural wood grains. Beach scenes with sand colored wood..., you know...

what an awesome job, you have skillz and are so humble. Now you need to grab a canvas and GO FOR IT!

Thank you! I feel like I would just stares blankly at a canvas 🤣 I’m not sure I could create from nothing. Maybe I’ll practice a few more Ross paintings.

OMG, another stunner!!! I love watching you create the scene. It is truly mesmerizing! I went to a few paint parties and loved those too. Expressing yourself this way is magical, but I hadn't thought of doing this on furniture until I found your channel. This is absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much. ❤

This is such a brilliant idea! I see very plain dressers for sale and think that they won’t be appealing if if they are redone. THIS is the answer! (If you’re talented.)

Thank you! It was really fun to do. Maybe more people will want to create this way.

That is the most beautiful dresser I have ever seen! I love love love it! Have always wanted to try a Bob Ross to see if I can make something resembling his if only in a small way as I have zero artistic talent. Zip. I once spent 6 weeks working on a watercolour tree to give to my brother. One of his friends saw it, looked puzzled & asked where it came from. Bro said "my sister painted it" & she looked at me & said "awwww it's so cute! How old were you?" While my darling brother busted a gut laughing I had to confess I was 30 when I painted it.....

Oh, you cracked me up! You should definitely try a Bob Ross video. It was really easy to follow/ I just hit pause and rewind… a lot! I don’t think I could paint something out of my head, I’d end up with my siblings laughing at me as well. I felt like this way took the pressure off. And if I’m being honest, I thought I was going to have to paint over this dresser. I mean, I still draw stick people so… Thank you so much for watching a sharing a bit of your story!

Thank you, Carole. It was fun for me. I’d love to paint. I can’t imagine having something like this come out of my brain. It was nice for me to follow along with Bob Ross. I don’t know how you painters come up with your ideas. Super jealous of your talents.

That is beautiful!!! Amazing!!! You nailed it! You inspired me to try this. My bedroom is a mountain scene because I love to ski. I’m lucky to be here in the PNW. I hope you keep it up. Bob Ross is a true teacher of art!
