I damaged my printer right after a few uses 🙈 After a print was done, I took the print bed off with the print and took it to another room to show someone else. When I returned to the printer, I clicked "Home" to put everything in the home position, not knowing that if there is no metal print bed, the printer will not stop going down the Z axes until you turn it off. Now I have a small hole where the nozzle worked its way into the heat bed. Yes it is my first Printer 🙈

Great video. Sometimes mine prints first few layers great then goes insane on x axis and proceeds to print wild layer shift. Sometimes it's just fine. Total pain in rear actually

Look at that mesh 10:40 -.31 to +.48 I couldnt even get mine to be that close and anything but tiny prints failed the first layer miserably.

After 120hrs of printing I have issues with the bed leveling, like the extruder just print aligned only in the middle and right side of the bed but on the left there's like 1/2mm of distance from the bed and the extruder. Everything is tighten up and I do autocalibration+sheet a4 calibration but nothing changes.. Dunno how to solve that, it's a shame.

Vlad- could you provide the nozzle/bed temperature that you are using to print TPU on the Neptune 3 Pro? Also are you printing directly on PEI sheet? Thanks, Gerry

Same as PLA. 200 nozzle, 60 bed but slower speed 30-40mm/s. Holds to PEI no issues.

I thoguht I heard they re-added the wheels on the bed of the pro so people could manually level it due to some people haven't warped beds and an unusable printer?

Someone on Reddit mentioned that replacing the plastic spacers with metal ones solves these types of issues.

leveling is off-axis notice how it levels on the very right edge of the bed while not on the very left side... Just setup one today, the homing also is not centered at all.

the magnetic sensor is actually on the back left side of the extruder, from the front view, that is why is it off-set :)

I got this printer in this week. But at the start of the print it purges/wipes filament on the edge of the bed while homing. Your video shows a blob. But mine does a streak and a blob, then moves to the center to print. Is this normal?

Calibrate your machine. Check the temps. Check the flow. It takes trying to troubleshoot for this stuff to work. It’s not some magical thing that is perfect right out of the box and stays that way.

I am new to 3D printing. My intention is to print translucid models of old classic car indicator and brakes that I can not find. I am able to design them in blender but now I want to be able to print them. I am getting this printer next week but I am trying to understand what is the best material to use for printing and the correct nozzle size. Are the nozzle compatible with ender 3 model and is the best filament for my purpose the PETG ? I am confused about the size that I should use and the nozzle type. Can somebody who owns this model printer give me some advise?

If you're going to print car parts you'd need to print in PETG because it's a lot more durable and temperature resistant. As far as I know PETG had the best translucency, however it wouldn't be perfectly see-through like tinted glass. For the added strength a car part would need I'd recommend a 0.6mm or even 0.8mm nozzle size, standard V6 or MK8 nozzle would fit (they're the same, just different names). PETG is harder to get printing properly but it can be done, make sure to do your research and do plenty of test prints. For absolute best results to get light through, I recommend getting a 1.2mm nozzle and setting the line width to 2.4mm, that way you can have as few lines next to each other as possible for most of the print, which is much better for light to pass through. Lastly, I highly recommend using Esun brand PETG, of all the brands I've used theirs has been the easiest to work with. Good luck to you, and happy printing!
