I just copied and pasted what I said on another video. Make ABSOLUTELY sure there's not a hard piece of PLA sticking out of, or on the nozzle before doing anything!! 1. Press LEVEL, Set Z-offset first! 2. Click "AUXILIARY" (Thumbwheel/Paper adjustment). 3. After completing AUX adjustment then the machine will automatically level itself. 4. Don't forget to click Save, Upper right hand corner when finished.😁 I get 0.01-0.04 on average for bed mesh and gorgeous prints.

Good point about a clean nozzle, or you think your paper is rubbing on the brass, but it could be some PLA residue. :-)

@@LanchburyConsultingLLC Yes that's exactly what I mean!!! Ask me how I found out. It will totally throw off all bed leveling, Z-offset,etc settings. I checked mine and I'd say 4 out of 5 times there's a nub sticking out of the nozzle.

If love to see your mesh after going through all that. Using STC I can’t get below .17 var.

To be honest, I don't even look at my mesh after doing this on either my 3 Max or 4 Max. Now you're making me curious. :) Remember, you're talking 0.17mm and that's what the auto-level it there to compensate for. On my giant TronXY with the 1000x1000 bed, the auto-level can theoretically compensate for a 1.5mm difference across the bed, but I manage to get it below 0.5mm.
