Thank you both for covering this, my HG system has been collecting dust since there are some major caveats, including always on internet access, not to mention LAN means nothing, your print is always uploaded to the AWS cloud account for HG regardless of selection method. I have been working on some other stuff on the background and if I break ground I will let you guys know but until than HG needs to know what a bad idea it is locking us out of this extremely powerful printer means to us.

I am currently in the market for a 3d printer and this intrigues me. But I would love to see this same test with more of the other exposure tests available: Siraya Tech Test Model V5, XP2 Validation Matrix, the thing with the skull and the sword, etc. You know what I mean

Hiya, I've gone and bought one of these machines and overall I'm happy with it, the questions I wanted to ask are, what camera would you recommend to use with it so that I can check on my prints as their printing as I believe there is a USB port for a camera?, and is there a way of changing the layer height??, many thanks for all the information you've been giving us on this machine and the different types of resins, please do keep the videos coming.

I'm not sure whether there's a specific camera that fits in the machine I'd contact hey gears directly to find that one out. Currently I just use a really cheap USB wifi Camera that's connected to my phone. Regarding layer height the option is in the slicer it's pretty much the last option if it isn't there then you can't change the layer height

I also tested the SUNLU ABS-Like Resin with the HeyGears PAU10 ABS-Like Profile. It also worked perfectly, as expected. :)

Hi there, could you also do a comparison between the (Siraya Tech Sculpt) and HeyGears own high temp resin for people like me who want to print cheap molds with their printers? Because of your videos I was thinking about getting the HeyGears printer but the high temp resin is still a question mark that I hope you can solve since you already have the printer. Thank you!!!

I don't have these resins and to be honest looking at the cost of them I won't be buying any lol sorry but that would cost me quite a bit of money as I'm sure you want to wear these are not cheap resins

@@greedy3d480 I did not mean for you to buy the very expensive HeyGears resin. Just the siraya sculpt resin which is 40$ (I think) And it can endure much higher temperatures than the HeyGears high temp resin. I bet Siraya tech would love to sponsor the resin for you. To see if one could use the (affordable) high temp resin with the HeyGears printer. Cheers!

I thought you would also be interested in knowing if the (Siraya Tech Sculpt/40$) resin would also work with the HeyGears printer. The (Siraya Tech Sculpt) resin even works with higher temperatures than the HeyGears resin. Maybe Siraya Tech would even be wiling to sponsor the resin for your testing. What do you think? @@greedy3d480 do you think you can mix PARP10 with other resins? and 2nd question: in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/lavQp6ZpbN98pck the person says that you have to use their curing station to make the curing process work with hey gears resins because their resin doesnt cure at the standart 405 wavelenght and that the heygears curing station is a must have and a requirement. Do you know if this is correct?

No fine tuning you are locked to their settings

@flutelab - try it using the PAC10 and let us know! We have confirmed it works beautifully with 66% ST blue and 33% ST purple. But the PAC10 resin is the same price per liter as X10 and burns out beautifully

@@WhiteGloveFans Thanks for the suggestion but my casting house is very specific about which resins they will handle. They are not dialling in another burnout just for me. Cant even use formlabs (I have a form2). So I need a printer that does Xone.

But Heygear said you will void the warranty if you do not use their Resin. Can you show where they say it is okay to use someone else's resin. This is my big hang up.

Where does it say that you void the Warranty when you use non HeyGears resin that's certainly not the conversation I've been having with heyGears although they're stance is they would prefer you to use their resin but acknowledged that users will use other resins in their printers

I asked . To clarify our policy on after-sales issues related to the use of third-party resins: if third-party resins are used, there is a chance that a mismatch in process strategies could lead to equipment or consumable damage. In such cases, HeyGears reserves the right not to cover any resulting failures. However, if there is a problem unrelated to printing, HeyGears will still provide after-sales service. We are also actively working on adjusting our resin prices. The PARP10 resin is expected to drop to around $30 in September

@@greedy3d480 Thank you for clarifying their policy, and the Resin PARP10 is wonderful news. I always wanted to go Heygear, but got a GK2 instead. Was going to pull the trigger on the GK3, but I do not need another GK2. Can I ask you two questions. Which of Heygear's Resin is most like Sunlu ABS-like or Siraya Tech Fast ABS-Like. These two are my favorite to work with. Also thank you for your responses.

@skcederstrom I've used a pup 10 resin which is quite durable in nature so if you put me on the spot considering which ones I have used I'd go with that
