I’ve had my OG Reflex for about 6 weeks now. Other than it feels limited at times on the build space, I don’t feel cheated after tonight’s release, especially since I have the full bundle including the Pulse module. So, the real proof of course is in final product. Can we see some side by side prints using same materials and settings? Thanks for the information.

Probably you never use a reflex printer. The quality and the way to use is totally another level.

But you really are getting what you pay for - honestly the build quality and the fact that it prodices top notch top quality print after print is worth it IMHO - as fauxhammer said and im stealing it - its not overpriced its expensive :)

thats good to hear mate - my mono X was a pile of doo doo lol :) seriously if it works it works , some beginners wont know how to or want to meddle with tuning so this will be easier for them I feel

A Kia gets you to work, but a Mercedes makes the experience more comfortable. I get great results with my Saturn 4 Ultra, but I look at how this one would make the process so much easier and I'm tempted. But I can afford that luxury. I think it's great that others can get the same results at a better price point, even if it's some more work.

Why you didn’t mention the difference of the light power from the reflex and the RS? For example with the RS you don’t have the option to print with the clear resin because the light source is different

thanks for the video and the coupon code. Usually I NEVER buy the first run of anything (after being burned a couple of times). Swore I would never buy a pre-sale item again but I think I'm going to eat my words with the RS. I have the Saturn 3 Ultra but the RS has a lot to offer in regards to durability and user friendliness. I do have a question, is there a vent hole on this machine so people can hook up a vent fan to get rid of VOCs while printing? If not, is could a person drill a vent hole on the back left of the machine? I think that would be a great addition. It won't be the thing that stops me from buying the RS but I would prefer a vent hole. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks again for the video.

I've had a look at the back of the machine and there is nothing there already but there is only plastic backing so you could quite easily create a hole in it to add extraction of your preference I do hope that helps you and if you do bite through my link you'll get the discount I appreciate your support

hey Greedy! I held back on getting the original reflex printer as i had heard rumours of this coming out and glad i waited as its much more affordable! just a quick FYI though, in your video you mention the price for the combo to be £1255 but on the website it is currently £1,687. and the printer alone you mention is £575 but the website lists as £766.

I've emailed heygears rep as we were all told prices pre launch and heygears pre viewed all our videos and approved them ..not sure why the price has changed I've certainly not been informed ..sorry for confusion

The best printer is the one that gets the job done and do not cost a fortune. €1.633 is ridiculous price. + Proprietary stuff = automatically meh.

i hear you and i don't necessarily disagree completely - this isn't IMHO overpriced - its expensive but build quality is excellent and ease of use and more importantly fabulous print after print may make this for some an investment theya are happy to make - ive used this for months now and honestly its my favourite machine hands down - plus you can use 3rd party resins in it and the quality is again amazing

A couple of questions: are the vat screws captive to the vat, or fully removable like most other printers? I noticed they stayed with the vat when you removed it. Also, what's you take on the PRM? It doubles the price of the machine, and while I've seen some marketing about what it does, I have yet to see a reviewer take on the pros and cons. Last question (so far) is the vat large enough that scraping the resin off the top of the build plate will mean it all goes back in the vat if you're careful? Some printers are a bit tight on the measurments and there's a good change of spill.

Hi thank you for the questions the screws are not removable my personal view on the pulsing release module is I don't believe it's worth the money I've got one and I've used it and although it prints quicker and there are fewer supports I'm getting perfectly high quality results without asphalt dripping in yes you do have to be careful as it can overspill I'm waiting for someone to create something to hang the VAT after printing so that you don't need to scrape it

@@greedy3d480 Thank you Tony. That really helps my decision. It seems I can get the heated vat without the PRM and it will work fine. As for a printed hangar for the dripping, I figure something should appear soon. If not, I might have to make one myself.

HeyGears doesn't have a list on thier site of compatible resins. Which ones specifically work with the RS? I saw some info in the video, but even with a rewatch, i wasn't sure.

My video has the list which work in it it's about six resins in total... but it will also work with pretty much any resin on the market also I have not found a resin yet that doesn't produce excellent results with it
