As a HUGE Rammstein fan, I was sceptical of hearing a cover. BUT Rikard killed it because at first I thought Till Linderman was doing the intro. I think it's amazing that they took this cover serious and treated it with respect. I think it's a masterpiece.

It’s not my place to say this is better than the original, but I personally like it more. It’s just got a heavier, darker tone to it. I love the guitars and Rikard and Madeleine just did outstanding!

Wow. I honestly thought that was Till at first when the song began. I remember when I first bought the Mutter CD (probably my all-time fav Rammsteain album), back when I was about 16. Wow, lots of pessimistic views and opinions here, shit, alrighty then, here we go. Look, I get it, we all wanna hear Madeleine more, I do too, she's got such a beautiful voice BUT, this is a band, not a solo artist doing her thing. Madeleine gets so much attention because she's a good singing, good looking front woman and the rest of the band somehow falls in the shadows of that. Eleine is not the first band suffering this and they won't be the last either. Point being that it's exactly songs like these that every band needs every once in a while to remind ourselves that the rest of the band are equally important and equally good, because they really and truly are in every sense of the word. Never forget that, and should you forget it - take 5 minutes of your life and listen to a masterpiece like this and please, stop demanding for more "Eleine" without contemplating the fact that what you just heard was in fact Eleine, not Madeleine, ELEINE, the entire band. Wise words. On music like this, it perfectly blends to have Troll-grunts from Rikard and Madeleines Elven-Voice wrapped up with some punch-in backing vocals (or single notes). It is the perfect blend which makes it great. And on music like this, you need breakdowns, bridges, turning points, something which just grabs you, sometimes unexpected, but making you go nuts.

It's amazing, not too far from original. The original is probably one of the best songs ever written in history. Thus covers can't be bad. Edit: Well, I'm digging it. Way better than the original, by far the best version I ever heard. I would not even notice Rikard is not german. Great job singing without accent, love how you roll the r. Madeleine did an awesome job too, a slight accent is noteable, if you really analize it, but still extremely good. This song really deserves to be played using good monitors or headphones (and a lossless version without youtube audio-mushing). Props to whoever made the mastering mixdown.
