This is exactly how they spoke & carried themselves; Dominique Jackson gets the performance down to a T, and she’s been competing in ballroom since she was a teenager.

See the problem is that she still can’t escape her box. Elektra is still categorized as an outsider even after her transition. She isn’t queer enough to be considered as a transgender in the eyes of men of objectify her due to the lack of her male genitalia and she is not woman enough to be considered as a real woman in the eyes of society because she is still categorized simply as a woman who is a man in a dress. This is the dilemma that surrounds Elektra in her transitioning journey. She is still boxed. She is not “trans” enough to be considered transgender in the eyes of men and she is not “woman” enough to be considered as a woman in the eyes of the society.

A sad reality I had to come to terms with. There are Men who will love you regardless, but more often than not you run into guys who see us as playthings, or not Woman enough. While society pushes this flawed belief than a Womb makes you a WOMAN. A Uterus makes you female, but being a WOMAN is MUCH more than menstruation. Slowly society is changing, as it should. We aren't monsters and freaks. And we all don't want the same things in life, or are glamorous and look like models. Many of us go undetected or at least unconfronfronted our whole lives. We just want to live in peace as our authentic selves. I love this show. It's too bad there won't be any more seasons. We need another story line. Maybe taking place in a different city.

That is the actual literal meaning of " much more than.." and that is why transwomen are not women. Elektra had bottom surgery, that means she had completed her transition from her assigned gender which was male to a female body. She no longer has a penis, she has a vagina and both her old sugar daddy and this guy she met to replace him were no longer interested in her. They only found her sexually attractive when she was pre-op and still had a penis. It was a fetish for them, so her having had gender confirmation surgery meant that it was a dealbreaker.
