been in the hobby way back in the 90's but wasn't able to secure a license, now I am working abroad and wanted to be in the hobby again. May I ask how to obtain a Phil. license so I could operate also here abroad. Do they give on line seminars and tests?

As per MC No. 03-08-2012, Section II, No. 8.3, and I quote "Club station licenses, RAOC's and ARSL's that expired beyond 5 years may be renewed in the same manner as in Section II, 8.1, provided the RAO and RAL shall be required to attend a SEMINAR ON RADIO LAWS AND RADIO ETHICS with the National Amateur Radio Association. However, A different Call Sign will be issued to the licensee if the later call sign is no longer available for assignment" Unquote...

as per revised Amateur Radio Rules and Regulations, No. 3, Section II under Application and Licenses, there are 4 Classes of Amateurs, Class A (Extra Class), Class B (General Class), Class C (Technician Class), and Class D (Foundation Class)...

Good video. I am a HAM from the USA, N6ZTE. I have been living here for the past 12 years and have recently gotten back into the hobby due to the capabilities of DMR. Since I plan to remain here permanently, it only makes sense that I obtain a Philippine NTC Amateur Radio license. I am a Lawful Permanent Resident here under Immigration Law Section 13(a), I am married to a Pinay. What must I do to take the test and obtain a local license? Of course I can renew my U.S. license before it expires next year online as well.
