HI, can you recommend some shisha brands or flavors for beginner, i tried Al Fakher blueberry but for my taste it has strong unnatural food coloring smell, am from EU so my assortment is limited, i tried few more cherry and blueberry-kiwi-mint (not so popular brand) but its same strong food color smell, i just hope not all favors have that smell...

Great review! I own an Alpha X and noticed even with 3 col start up the bowls cloud is very weak. I’ve check for an release of air but still no luck. Any tips?

The review and how-to doesn't mention any type of 3 coal start-up as it pertains to Element Air though. Optimal would either be 2 cubes with lid or 4 cubes no lid in a Lotus, as shown. Also, to truly solicit help, you'd need to mention what type of pack you're executing, what brand of shisha you're using (since its unclear if you're using the shisha that is the subject of the video), and your bowl/hmd set up. Clouds are a product of your pack and your heat, and without knowing each variable, no one can truly help.

Hi, the entire point of an optimal pack for a brand is the method, nor the density, doesn’t change regardless of bowl. You’d really benefit from looking at my Density Levels series of videos on this channel as I’ve formulated a mathematical equation to make sure u can pack any bowl at any desired density level, accurately.

@@levent-erhan well, if it helps you out - the air line is the only line in a white box, whereas the dark leaf lines are in black boxes. I’d say they did a good job to help differentiate between them so there’s no mistake what you’re smoking. Also the tobacco you would have to physically pack is blonde and leafy and dark and mushy

@@SarkisAlexander Good to know. But I'm getting the names mixed up, not the actual tobacco. Earth and Fire are easier to distinguish because Fire is obviously going to be stronger than Earth, but when it comes to Air and Water, it's a little confusing as to which would lighter, ya know.

Element Air is a completely different product to Element Water and Earth lines (which your Belgian Waffle flavor is from) Element has proclaimed that they’ve improved their dark leaf line and i am looking forward to revisiting it, but based on my extensive testing of element dark lines … it had been pretty lackluster, heat sensitive, temperamental and overall underwhelming. So if that’s what you’ve experienced and believe it to be good, then I can’t wait for you to get into top tier dark leaf brands like Tangiers, Trifecta Dark, Vintage, and Nirvana Eclipse

@@SarkisAlexander I've tried a good number of Tangiers and Trifecta Dark and I have to say that I prefer the Belgian Waffle. I can't say how long it lasted because I had a rushed smoke, but as far as tobacco and flavor, I liked it a lot. Seeing that they have 4 levels, the level 2 (Water) was stronger than I was expecting. Probably close to a Trifecta and definitely not a blonde leaf. I assume the Earth is going to be closer to Tangiers and Fire would be too strong for most smokers, if they could even find it.

@@levent-erhan so what I’m getting at is you smoked it once for a short time, liked the flavor, and now raving about the brand … that’s fine boss, do you Though I must say that I think you might be a little misinformed regarding your comparisons. This could be due to you packing and heat managing not optimally for the given brands. Air is a blondeleaf that’s the weakest and comparable to Starbuzz and Fumari, water is next and it’s slightly weaker than Tangiers Noir yet stronger than Trifecta Dark, Earth is slightly stronger than Tangiers Noir, Fire is said to be even stronger still But that’s all irrelevant if the dark lines aren’t worth purchasing if they perform poorly. Unless, of course you want to smoke for 40min-1hr and if that’s the case then you shouldn’t care about anything such as quality or performance. Flavor alone is incredibly subjective so I don’t talk about such superficial things, but rather seek out to understand the tobacco as it pertains to the session in it’s entirety. I leave the skin layer things to beginner reviewers who only talk about their personal preferences. I’m glad u found a flavor you happen to like though!

@@SarkisAlexander Yes I know, I accidently wrote that I had smoked air but edited it; the belgian waffle is water. As far as your comparisons to Tangiers and Trifecta, I agree. I've smoked many enjoyable Tangiers and Trifecta, specifically Natural Order, Morning Glory and Kashmir Peach to name a few. All those are great too. But I have to say, Belgian Waffle tasted pretty damn yummy. And, I think the tobacco strength was perfect. Perhaps that's because I'm getting better at packing, and perhaps the next 3 Element Water flavors I try won't be as good, but I'm definitely ordering more Belgian Waffle. Have you actually tried it or might some of the other flavors in the Water line misinformed your characterization :) Nice video by the way.

Also I was wondering even if the provost is not ideal for this can we still experience the same flavor wise with it? I have been kind of lazy and smoking most of my tobacco with the provost.

Thank you! Yes it’s possible, I’d recommend a fluff pack and expect the flavor to die out around an hour 15 with provost. Any other method is just too much for the flavor to come out clean with the provost; element air just can’t take the Provost - being a Beginner Tier Blonde leaf (Standard as listed on the website)

Good to hear that element is going down well. However, not sure that the pack is as per your description: the starting point looks quite high for a semi fluff underpack (particularly as the goodfella trench is shallow) and resulting pack looks packed to the rim and a bit denser than semi fluff. Although I would also use a kaloud guage bowl mainly for blonde, but definitely something deeper if underpacking.

Hi, I created the density levels and defined them. This is a Semi-Fluff Plus Underpack as standardized by myself for 8 years at Hookah Unlimited. Please refer to the tutorial linked in the video to learn how to execute a Semi-Fluff Plus, properly. Thank you! Edit: of course, the results speak for the pack as what’s optimal for Element Air. An Underpack is defined as 2-3mm below the rim - regardless of how deep or shallow the trench of a given bowl is - which was showcased and explained in the video.

Oh, and given that this is the optimal pack for Element Air, you’re free to use whatever bowl you like. So long as it’s compatible with the Lotus.

@@SarkisAlexander hmm. It's definitely not 2-3mm under the rim by the looks of things, and if I was going for a semi fluff underpack in the goodfella, I wouldn't fluff to the same height as shown in the video and then press down. Just my observation.

You keep saying SemiFluff and I keep specifying SemiFluff Plus to no avail An Underpack is determined from the highest point of the rim, where the foil or hmd would sit, not from the bottom curve of the rim. Edit: if your idea of a semi fluff is lighter than showcased, it would be correct. As I’ve mentioned this is a SemiFluff Plus. Depending on How much lighter would take it to a Light SemiFluff or even a Heavy Fluff or Fluff Plus pack ranges

Im literally here not recommending Element Air to be used with Provost and have clearly categorized it as a Beginner Blonde - which, by definition, isn’t best with Provost. I’ve also addressed how to pack for provost in a previous comment asking the same question. If you must use a provost then I recommend a Fluff Underpack (it won’t be as good of a session as directed in this video but it’ll net your the best possible session with provost)

I do enjoy the flavors of the air line, but I find the longevity to be very much less than Azure blonde, Overdozz, and Trifecta.

Azure hasn’t been very consistent and has dropped from the Performance Tier category I originally assigned it That said, as I made clear in the video above, Element Air is a Standard Tier Blondeleaf where it’s specialty is flavor quality and cloud output. With the optimal pack method as explained above, you will get 2+ hours of clean flavor and large clouds. Please watch again and refer to the linked tutorial as to how to achieve a SemiFluff Plus Underpack, using a Lotus I+ of course. Edit: I also explain how to heat manage it. It’s quite a complete video, really

Currently, top tier Performance Blondes include Haze, Trifecta, Overdozz, and Nirvana.
