while yes i dont believe it reaches anywhere near 400f the bottom of the bowl(more specifically silicone phunnel) is is not where i would get readings. Silicone one does not transfer near as much heat as clay and two being a phunnel you are not pulling nearly as much heat down to the bottom layers of tobacco as say a egyptian bowl so in clay and egyptians you will likely see higher temps at the bottom. the top of the bowl will be where a majority of the heat is concentrated.
@alexmatthews19682 ай бұрын
issue with fridge is not excessive moisture. its actually the complete opposite. a fridge working properly is a dry environment as cold air holds less moisture than warm air. as a result as the air gets drier liquid evaporates quicker which in turn will cause your shisha to dry out much faster.

That Needs a deeper funnel bowl, and or a wider bowl for better heat disbursement.

Respectfully, for what? Sessions lasted 2+ hours with flavor and clouds. Maybe it’s more important to learn how to pack and heat manage Must Have tobacco better, don’t you think?

Deep funnel bowls work the best to retain the flavor profile for long smoking sessions. Coco nara coals are my favorite coals.

You are wrong bro 2 coal is enough for shisha and lots of smoke
@SarkisAlexander4 ай бұрын
Really? What truly interesting to me is you weren’t even capable of considering the size of the bowl, the type of tobacco in the bowl, or any other major variable that would affect the required amount of heat such as how one has packed the bowl. For example, if we’re specifically talking about foil-only application; then two coals is enough with very heat sensitive tobacco that’s been packed far too dense. But we’re not talking about bad packs, shitty tobacco, number of coals, or small bowls. We’re talking about how to use coals on foil to heat manage your session - in fact I start with “begin with a predetermined pattern based on the size of your bowl”. This particular bowl is quite wide in relation to the size of coals I’m using - maybe you missed that - then the entirety of the message was about how and when to ash your coals and move them around. Please don’t speak out of your ass like this. There’s levels to this game.

Drying it out a bit can help in some circumstances, I just tried it. If the flavor is weak then excess glycerin in the juice can mute it further
@SarkisAlexander4 ай бұрын
Hi, flavor isn’t ever weak unless you’re smoking shisha from 1998 Everything else is solved with dialing in the correct pack for whatever brand you’re smoking.

Will this pack work with a lotus too or would you pack lower? Excellent video once again brother
@SarkisAlexander4 ай бұрын
This is the set up and pack recommended for Must Have - the lotus doesn’t work quite as well. But opting for a Normal Plus Pack at an Underpack by 3mm will work okay if you must use a Lotus

Provost 2 replaced Provost 1, as there are no Provost 1’s in production by AOT. So considering one cannot get one… no it’s not recommended

I would need to know what you’re putting in the bowl and how you’re packing it. And how many coals you’re using and what kind+what size. As well as which exact bowl you’re using. There are many variables in hookah that affect the outcome. Naturally the goal is always clean potent flavor, large smooth clouds and have it stay that way for at least 1.5-2hrs for blondes and 2-3hrs for darks. But not doing one or two things correctly will negatively impact the session. Therefore, there is not a simple easy answer to provide without providing viable information. One thing I can’t stress enough to beginners in hookahs is that no two shisha tobacco brands are the same, so each one requires a different approach to extract its full potential
@shan90775 ай бұрын
@@SarkisAlexander oh wowwww! Thank you for this this def makes sense . I’m using shisha from a company named “Fumari “ I found them here on KZbin and watched their videos over and over . So I brought a hookah head from them which is a Funnel bowl ( which I hear is recommended ) it’s a nice size pretty big cause I fit the kaloud lotus on it perfectly . I use 3 coconut coals on it to start it up . What stands out to me about what uu said was I sometimes mix flavors from two different companies. Fumari ( blonde leaf ) Al Fakher ( red/ dark leaf ) and it never last a hour or anything it’s usually shorter then that and starts to taste burnt . Never knew how long hookah sessions should last before uu need to change the shisha . Fumari says to pack their bowl two inches below line in bowl . What company do you recommend to use ?? And based off what I listed can you please advise me on what to do better ?? I appreciate it 😊
@SarkisAlexander5 ай бұрын
@@shan9077 another point I’d like to stress is that just as no two brands are the same, there are brands that are just not very good. Imagine thinking every burger is the same quality, for example. Outcome is further impacted when you begin to explore mixing different brands as not all are compatible with one another since they all require a different approach. That said, fumari used to be considered a top tier blonde for beginners. But they haven’t been the same as their peak since 2018. You see, very easily it tastes a bit burnt and has a weird aftertaste now - which is probably what you’re experiencing now. Also, I wouldn’t pay much attention to their content as it’s all made as an attempt to market their product… and poorly so as far as the content they put out is in terms of actual expert level advice. That said, What flavors do you like from Fumari? Maybe I can recommend others that might assist you further
@shan90775 ай бұрын
@@SarkisAlexander okay i completely understand ! I’ve definitely been trying to perfect my hookah experience so I’ve been experimenting and this was the first company since Al fakher for me . That’s why I’m glad I’m asking you because I’m sure uu can guide me to better . So far I actually like their lemon mint flavor and their pirkley pear . From Al fakher I like love 66 and a little vanilla mixed or skyfall and a little vanilla mixed . I usually like to mix a sweet flavor with like a mint flavor stuff like that . But I’m open to suggestions. What company should I go towards next ? Also I will look up this hookah bowl ur using in this video too . 😊

Great video. The claims that shisha produces more tar has never made sense to me just from what I’ve seen. If that was true I’d imagine the inside of my stem would be covered in tar or my base water would turn brown after a session. You took it step further and showed the shisha doesn’t even get hot enough for it to combust to produce that tar.
