If they do any updates to it, I'd love to use a dry/wet blend on the middle slider to get that Cab/DI blended sound easier. Love the pedal!

I have this pedal. It is not easy to change cab Sims live. However, I've noticed that the potentiometer that switches the cab Sims randomly cycles through each option and then stops on a different sim. It also causes the sound to cut off during this time. It seems very glitchy. I have been updating the firmware, but still has issues. Guess I'll have to see what DG says.

This is the amp brain that Roland or Kemper want to make. I should make a slap in cabinet interface so I can just use presets to reconfigure the amp core for a different cabinet as fast as a swipe.
@francoishtzl1572 жыл бұрын
It is the amp sim in that open the tone like that ? other video Jacob have made with MXu and AOU has a darker tone, maybe it is the presence on the element that make it sound "better" so ?

Amazing sound. Loving the Nolly’s Mega-Meld IR. I don't own this pedal but do own the B7k Ultra, Hyper Luminall Bass Compressor and Microtubes X. Does anyone know if there is a way to buy somewhere the Impulse Response? I would LOVE to put it in chain in postproduction after my Microtubes X.
@francoishtzl1572 жыл бұрын
YOu can't buy those impulse but you can buy the Element or Torpedo Cab M (or others IR's loaders)

big advantage is that you cannot kick the sliders / knobs by mistake and they should be more resistant to water since there are no holes for the pots or sliders

Should have used a wider variety of tones. They all had that modern metal production farting clank tone that sounds like a Ric dying from terminal flatulence. The only appreciable difference between the examples was volume.
@bateman21124 жыл бұрын
@@MFKR696 first that's not what tone deafness is. Second, I went back and listened on my PC and my phone got the same variation in volume. Third nice fourteen year old ultra grimdark edgelord screen name. Yeesh.

They're cabinet simulations, it's supposed to be subtle morphing of your main tone. If he's dialed up compression and distortion on a clanky bass, then guess what all the cab sims are going to sound like? Each one emphasizes different frequencies to give it a slightly different character. Nolly's brings out the highs and high mids, the bitey is heavy on low and high mids, the X7 is super scooped. If you want it to produce more variation, then you're looking for a different product.

Jacob is a bass moster. But in these days that everybody uses Dingwall basses with Darkglass, sounds like every bass player on earth have the same sound. And IMO it's kinda boring. Miss the time when we could guess the bassplayer just listening his bass sound.

id say the same thing but then I only am because my own bad life choices hah, for guys like Jacob here there what is an example of what a person can do when they you know not just put in countless practice hours,but also dont make bad life choices like spending most or even all of there money on alcohol and drugs I mean to an absurd degree theres things you can do casually of course and not go overboard,but thats what guys like him did and as a result not only has alot of practice made them great but they are also able to keep moving up the ladder and getting amazing equipment for studio recording and to sound better for live shows as well and can stay active and productive.My point is while some are obviously way more poor then others anyone who truly wants to say have even a sorta decent studio and great equipment like this can do so yah it costs a good amount but any job can get you there eventually, especially the younger you start playing before all your earnings have to go to bills insurance rent and etc ya know.
