Awesome video. There's a lack of detailed reviews in the rc world, I really appreciate you putting in the time and effort.

That was a brilliant video. 👍 I've just bought one of these and I'm off out to have a go this afternoon. It seems all the brass hasn't made a lot of difference on those trails. Maybe in more extreme conditions they'd show their worth. 👍

Hello, what shock towers do you have installed? to change the angle of the shock absorber. thank you
@silverstatercadventures2 ай бұрын
These ones are the Samix RC shock towers. SOR graphics make great adjustable shock towers as well.

Thanks for this great rundown. Im thinking of going with the Axe setup in my Sendero. Did you end up using the stock plastic spur gear or did you have to upgrade that along with the pinion gear? Thanks!
@silverstatercadventures3 жыл бұрын
You will definitely enjoy it if you go that route. I stayed with the stock plastic spur gear, cheap and easy to replace failure point. Haven't had an issue stripping them though.
@SolRayz3 жыл бұрын
@@silverstatercadventures ok cool good to know. You mentioned that you used a Robinson 17t pinion with a 5mm shaft hole. Is that correct? And how are you liking that setup.
@silverstatercadventures3 жыл бұрын
@@SolRayz yes, I'm using the 17t 48 pinion. I like it, does great slow and has good speed still.

@@silverstatercadventures awesome thanks for the info. I'm in Vegas too btw. Id love to hit up some of the same trails one of these days. You go to some awesome spots. 👍

Did you install the 11.83% over drive gears?
@rinntinnglen62913 жыл бұрын
Your skill driving, that makes the truck look like it handles and drives effortless. Great video and thank you for the input.
@silverstatercadventures3 жыл бұрын
@@rinntinnglen6291 thank you, I definitely try to have a smooth driving style for a more realistic drive. The hobbywing axe system helps out a lot too. Currently running the stock gears on the transmission, going to be putting the 11% overdrive gears in soon. I did on my Trailrunner and liked the extra bit of rotation up front.
@RCOffRoad763 жыл бұрын
Great review 👍do you know if these come with the harder plastics than the original Sendero? can't find any info online anywhere
@silverstatercadventures3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is a better plastic than the original. There is also a hard option but the new plastic material holds up very well.
@CactusCrawlersRC3 жыл бұрын
Very cool rig, I got the Trailwalker myself! You didn't mention if you are still running the overdrive at 6% or did you step up to the 12%?
@silverstatercadventures3 жыл бұрын
Stayed at the 6%, might try out the 12% though. Could keep the front end down just a bit more on the climbs.
