I love the Digilent scope I use it for current sensing and it works just great.

This is an amazing tool. Great configurability and extensibility. I wish it was cheaper and there was a version with more bandwidth but it's still a good price for a lab that needs to build complex tests, or as part of an automated inspection rig on a factory floor.

I have an Analog Discovery 2. I love being able to look at things on my huge monitor. I do find some of the user interface controls in Waveforms to be a little hard to understand, and the documentation can be sparse, or merely repeats the terminology used in the user interface. Using different terminology and expanding on it with a few sentences would be very helpful. Seeing sample data in table format has been extremely helpful in certain situations.

It looks great but I see on their website that the scope is limited to a 50V input. Thats pretty low.

This is awesome but have a few questions. Is the software Windows only or is there Linux install available? I don't want to assume that it's only windows as the machine has Linux server on it. If not, I am sure it's something that can use graphana instead or virtual machine windows, which I do for other things anyway. The other question is can you use multiple units together in the PC software for these?

i've been using the waveforms software in linux for years, a year ago the analog discovery 2 had problems disconnecting randomly, but the last version fixed the issue and i can tell that waveforms is fantastic in linux :), as for the last question, i have no idea if you can use more than one at a time

It's nice but if I kill my oscilloscope doing something stupid I'm only down an oscilloscope. Here I'd be down a function generator, power supply...

I'm sorry, did you "get this from the Element14 community" or is that some corporate advertising bullshit

The element14 Community has the Road Test program, which is where members on the site can apply for a chance to receive tools in exchange for written reviews. While accepting applications, the program manager loaned me one of the units so I could make a video on it. I'm sorry, but I don't know how to explain it any better.
