Cracks me up that Sherlock doesn't get why he is better/sharper with Watson...it's cause you want to impress her you fool!
@nikgokuhil Жыл бұрын
While that might be true to some extent, I dont think that is all there is to it. They just compliment each other well. Its like oiling a machine. There are things he could rely on her for. Not to mention that Watson cares a lot but also establishes clear boundaries, is quite understanding, perceptive and calls people out on their bullshit. For someone like Sherlock, thats gold There are very few people who opinions and insight actually matter to Sherlock. He could disregard an advise coming from someone he cares about, but he would listen to a person who knows what they are talking about

When your IQ is that high, not many can meet you halfway. It’s lonely at the apex of intellect. I’m not quite at their level at 135 IQ, but I understand it. The friends you make, hold onto them for dear life.

Weird. Everything crazy people do surprises me. Guess I’m just an idiot.
@redjohn38473 жыл бұрын
No, you're not an idiot. Human behavior is often thought to be 93% predictable, yet in order to reach that high predictability percentage on someone, you either have to get all of their information regarding their nature/nurture motivations, have a respectable amount of experience in dealing with different types of people and how to act with each type, study human behavior and psychology, or do all of these methods simultaneously. So you see, although the human behavior predictability percentage is really high, one must have extensive experience and knowledge in order to be able to reach that accurate percentage in the first place, and even if you are able to gain that knowledge, some people's behavior WILL still manage to surprise you. That's why even the great Sherlock Holmes said “A strange enigma is a man.” which means: " While there is rarely a case that Sherlock Holmes can't manage to solve, people remain, to some extent, unpredictable to him. Emotions are a wildcard-but it's those human puzzles that thrill him into investigations." (source of quote 2: murder-mayhem.com) So you see my friend, you are not an idiot like you say, you just need to learn.

You may mean shocking 😀. If you know a crazy person is going to do something crazy because it's expected, it's not surprising 😁. But because of what they do, it can be shocking.
@voidking9597 Жыл бұрын
@@PlayaP69 I suppose you have a point. Although I definitely meant surprise. Knowing whether or not someone is crazy is a requirement for Knowing they will do something crazy. I'm not sure I KNOW anyone crazy, and even if I did that doesn't mean I know what crazy thing they will do. You can absolutely be surprised by unknown unknowns.

How in the hell was she only in three episodes of this show
@marjoried98342 жыл бұрын
According to the producer of the show, it’s because Natalie Dormer is such a good actress she was always busy working on other projects. Those three episodes were the only times they were able to get her. They would have loved to do more episodes with her.
@TheJadedJames2 жыл бұрын
@@marjoried9834 It is a serious shame. This show was seriously hurt by the fact that Natalie Dormer was positioned as the main villain. But only appears in 3 episodes. She's so important yet absent that it really breaks the logic of the show that you never see her. If we literally could have gotten just one Moriarty episode a year or if they could have brought her on again to definitively end her story arc so that it didn't feel like a plot hole ... that would have made all the difference
@indedgames4359 Жыл бұрын
@@TheJadedJames ther should have recastet her then
@TheJadedJames Жыл бұрын
@@indedgames4359 I disagree on the recasting. It would have been too distracting. The show could have adjusted to the fact that Dormer was never coming back. To the VERY end the show was holding out for her. But if Season 2 they just accepted that she was gone, they could have built up a new villain. Season 2 even hints that she had a mentor, an idea that is brought up again and tossed. But it could have been the perfect way to introduce a more traditional Moriarty stand-in as the main antagonist for the rest of the show. Find an actor who can knock it out the park and make them the endgame villain (and since we aren’t recasting, that actor won’t have to copy anyone else’s performance, they’d be liberated to do their own thing)
