ELEMENTARY STUDENTS CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY MONTH

Third-grade students at Matthews Elementary School celebrated Black History Month this afternoon.
The students honored famous African-American musicians such as Tina Turner, The Temptations, Sister Sledge and Bruno Mars. Students sang, danced and competed in a knowledge bowl. The program took a month to be put together by the school.
