I’m interested in buying one the table fire from Elementi but what about the durability of that light concrete? Do we need to bring it inside in winter to avoid damage from the cold weather? Also, is it possible to sand the surface when there’s scratches on the surface? Thanks.

Hi! Elementi only sells via retailers like us so I'd recommend checking out our website: www.firepitsurplus.com/products/elementi-granville To answer your question, glass fiber reinforced concrete is the best core material for any fire pit. We've had customers who have had their fire pit with 3+ years with no trouble. To keep it protected from the elements, we provide a free weather proof canvas cover and you can pick up a burner cover for an additional cost (would highly recommend). Regarding your sanding question, I'm honestly not sure on that one. :/

I asked about bottom access for both the Granville and the Hampton from the manufacturer and they said neither had bottom access for NG as they were enclosed units! So how is access available from the bottom for either of these.

Hi there! Thanks for the question. The set up shown in the video is for natural gas. This particular customer made the fuel connection at the connector which is located near the ignition control system. You could make this connection from underneath to make it fully hidden. If you were to do propane, you'd need to purchase a propane tank (sold separate) with a propane tank cover. If you're looking for a more discrete look, I'd recommend going with Natural Gas. If you have any questions feel free to call or email us! 888-671-4611

It's mentioned in the video that the gas connections can be hidden but there appears to be a hose coming out the front side (viewable in this video). Wondering if the LP connection is completely underneath and can be hidden?

@@firepitsurplus thank you for the response. I’m thinking of running the line thru conduit and having the propane tank hidden behind a knee wall. Appreciate it.

@@cpete918 interesting! Well, we can always check in with the manufacturer to see if that follows their safety protocol. Just reach out!
