I'm a dude, I played basketball for 26 years (nope never made it) and if I've got basketball on tv that I can watch I'm watching.... BUT (sorry not sorry) if I've got 2 games on tv to watch and I got to pick one and my choices are a high school game (boys) or a WNBA game with the best 2 WNBA teams playing I'm watching the high school game and it's for one reason.... The WNBA needs to change the size of the ball and lower the official rim height from 10ft down too 9'4 - 6 inches... Add the dunk into their league so that we can really create a competitive league that gives an advantage to the teams who have legit athletes or big dominant centers... The game right now is worse than boys high school games and if you ladies wanna get paid you need to start selling posters of chicks dunking on chicks... The WNBA if it stays as is DEFINITELY ain't gaining my viewership and it will continue to be a barely supported league.... Ladies that love to hoop you really gotta lower that rim and make the ball a size 7... I'm a potential fan who currently does not watch and has never seen a full WNBA qtr let alone a full game but I promise you this if somehow I got the things I'm wishing for in this post I 100% would start to insert WNBA games into my weekend basketball viewing binge. Up to you but I'm fine not following a league who won't commit to a couple of simple adjustments.

Agreed. Their pride is too much high to accept this. They want to push you to watch the way it is now. They need to see that thier league is broken and unwatchable. Imaging having a ESPN Top 10 WNBA best plays, and 7 of them are poster dunks. 3 of them the best ankle breakers followed by a 3. They need to understand that no one watches because there's no excitement in watching women throwing airballs, have 15 turnovers in the first 5 minutes of the game, and players telling people that they are sexists because they don't watch. The thing us fans need to do though is not trash their league without providing a solution to how to grow their fan base and FOR ME....IN MY OPINION... I'm NOT ever going to watch the WNBA the way it is now, if they read this at any point In time and actually take what I'm saying as the blueprint towards growing their league I would be shocked to get recognition as a fan who wanted these changes....
