Soooo if you guys are updated with the latest news from Comic Con you know by now TVD announced its 8th and final season.
Elena/Delena fans everywhere were expecting some info about the forthcoming and unavoidable return of the protagonist of the show but journalists have pretty much failed us and even Julie Plec said she was expexting some Elena related questions.
Because of this, we decided to take matters into our own hands and create some buzz ourselves. There's no doubt in our mind that Nina will be back to give her character closure and that Elena will get her very well deserved happy ending, that's why we want to show that we're still here, rooting for our girl like the very first day!

Watching the Elena half of this video was beautiful, but I just started sobbing when it switched to Nina. Nina made me love Elena to the moon and back, she gave me hope through her, gave me a role model, and her own journey these years has been beautiful and hard to watch. I found Elena/Nina at the end of my teenage years, in a state similar to where Elena was at the beginning of the show. I watched her strength, her brokenness, her compassion and lack of self preservation, how deeply she was able to love despite her depression, the way she learned to love and accept herself, and so much more. And like Nina said, we became women, together. She showed me it was okay to not know who I was or what I wanted yet. I pushed myself to learn how to stop being self destructive through her relationship with Damon, and how he insisted she learn to accept the good and bad in her. She gave me an example of a woman who didn't need to compromise a single thing about herself to be accepted and full of joy. She could be understanding, compassionate, driven and still stand up for the right thing. She could be a hypocrite and flawed, she would sometimes need to be called out on her self righteousness but she. was. still. so. good. I will always love Elena Gilbert, because she showed me that recovery won't come from a romantic relationship with someone, although it can contribute. She showed me that recovery can take a long time, that life may get worse before it gets better, but you keep fighting after your breakdown, that it doesn't have to be sad all the time, that you can and have to create good, shining, beautiful moments regardless. She gave me the courage and the strength to be happy. Which is why I need her back, and I need her to get a proper ending. The Vampire Diaries is the story of Elena Gilbert, I don't care what anyone else wants to try to make into. She needs a proper end full of hope and happiness because I need it, I need her to be happy.

I've always loved Elena. Everyone gives her shit because of the whole Stefan thing. We get it. It was and still is kinda messed up, but they both did the right thing. The sire bond really in my opinion had nothing to do with it. We could tell before she became a vampire she had feelings for Damon. It was pretty obvious. Elena never really wanted everyone to sacrifice everything for her. She was willing to sacrifice herself for everybody the same for them. Elena is a good character. I love her. Always will

Just watched the whole thing for the first time. Elena is by far my favourite character. She’s the best of us in every way. Good, kind, compassionate, loving, full of life, selfless & always followed her pure pure heart. Nina Dobrev can be very proud of herself she’s obviously very much like this character in real life. TVD pretty much ended when she left at the end of S6. Loved the character love her & wish her only the very best in life 🤍

Literally would sit every Thursday night for the CW to put a new episode out- all the way from 2009-2017-basically growing up with this show. I remember at the age of 8 wanting all the same qualities as this character when the first episode came out. Then at the age of 15 I remember watching this edit for the first time and so upset Nina was leaving the show. So coming back to this now, almost 21, I can safely say that our compassion is our greatest gift while others would say it's our greatest weakness. It's my most prized possession that I've carried with me. I would not want to take on life any other way. Thank you Elena and Nina for engraving that into me
