The problem is that Rybakina got robbed by this delusional chair umpire badly. Both of the sets this umpire robbed from Rybakina. Only Swiatek was awarded points for her winners and her opponent's unforced errors, but not Rybakina. Swiatek was too injured to win this match in the first place.

@@Vescilla Swiatek have injured leg. Her leg was taped when she played Boulter 2 days ago. She barely in three sets defeated Boulter who is much weaker than Rybakina. She couldn't have won this match at all. This umpire simply was simping for Swiatek, because Swiatek is ranked higher and looks way better than Rybakina. This umpire clearly have a crush on Swiatek.

Before this duel, Elena had been living almost rent-free in Iga's head way too long. Iga has finally been able to evict her, at least for a while. Since her suspension, Iga, a lifelong problem solver, has ironed out a few tiny but important wrinkles in her game, e.g. precision, shot variety, sharpness, and confidence. Elena is an exquisite ball striker, but, due to her height, she is a clunky mover. All in all, this match was a feast for the eyes. Looking forward to more games like this.

1GA forever 💚💚💚 I have no words to praise her more 😍😍😍Her fighting spirit, nerves of steel, consistency and movement are legendary. However her reaction after the match point was very concerning. When you've just won with one of your 3 most dangerous opponents after amazing, technical match, get to the finals and you are too tired to even smile - it's so brutal. She again pushed herself over the limit line and it makes me sad. It's ridiculous and stupid and harmful to not give players one more day off before the finals. You really want to see exhausted people play and risk their health or regenerated players show 100% of their potential? I would really like 1GA to be the first one in te history to start a new trend - fck rankings - health (mental and physical) first. I better see her happy than victorious, it's kinda obvious. At this stage of her career she has nothing more to prove (maybe Wimbledon) so she can set new health standards if she only wishes to. Miss a tournament or two if needed, regenerate properly and come back with full force 😁

She was trailing in the second set but had opportunities to level the match but again lost several critical points. Rybakina would have won in straight sets if she didn’t mess up several easy points at the net and overhit wide open shots at the baseline. Iga played well but Rybakina gifted her many opportunities and crucial points.
