Elena has to win this not because only she deserved this but also to announce to the world, she is a champion player who needs to be recognized as well biasness from AO making her playing her in normal court and still even in the highlights of game they didnt show her winners, it was of always loser one. On top of that our country has over 120+ nationalities including Russians and Ukrainians and we all live in peace and unity. Ex Soviet Union countries have millions of Russians living there. Big fan of Elena since Wimbledon, great player and seems like a genuine, chill person. It was also clear to me as soon as I saw her run there, her performance there that she was not gonna be a one timer. Even though her ranking to win there was quite strange it was clear she was here to stick around. Good mentality, very solid hitting, and she can beat anyone on tour. Could see Rybakina and Swiatek being the players to beat at the top in this little era- if Elena takes it we've seen one or the other take the last four slams since Barty retired. Hope they continue a really great rivalry, feel like Rybakina can and will test Iga in the big tournaments like she did here. The final is set to be a good one for now. Sabalenka is 10-0 this year and 20-0 in sets so not gonna be easy
