Rybakina was blowing lots of balls, also hardly any free points on serve. They both were very tense and it showed, esp. in the tiebreak where nobody could hold for a while. Swiatek's defense on match point was amazing - I bet Rybakina was also surprised that last crossscourt backhand got back to her and she blew that shot. Well done both, hopefully we see more of this during AO.

Even though Polish tennis competitor had a trivial injury, she has managed to dispatch tepid Rybakina in 2 straight sets. Iga proved one more time that she had been more superior and intrepid than Elena in this toilsome clash. If Swiatek hadn't had a minor injury, she could have claimed a more different outcome within this continuum. It could have been 6-2/6-3 or 6-1/6-3.
