I literally started crying when I saw the Elephant. This guy's a strong and diligent one that doesn't judge humans despite us being the ones who brought him the harm. I would love to give this amazing elephant a hug and he's done a wonderful job❤️❤️❤️

People poach them to make money by selling their ivory tusks
@corsicanlulu8 жыл бұрын
because middle class chinese have an insatiable appetite for elephant tusks, ivory. they think its for good luck. other asians like them also torture animals and eat them for good luck too

corsican lulu Yeah thanks! I know people uses the tusk for something, but I don't know what they use it for.

American dentists hunt too. They kill lions, elephants etc.. Americans looooove to shoot.

Lewis Brooks It could be numerous reasons. Ivory sculptures, or maybe just the tusks themselves. Decades ago, piano keys were overlayed with ivory from elephant tusks, hence the term "tickle the ivories", which meant to play the piano. Thank God ivory is not used for that purpose any longer.

@Everything's Eventual I didn't come here for an argument. Lmao!! So true. I've heard many Yanks say they can't understand what's being said; the British accent confused them? My brother and I watched all British comedy cause we got the style of humour the Brits utilize best. So precious few of us left, eh? Know what I mean, wink wink nudge nudge?
@rondohunter89664 жыл бұрын
@Everything's Eventual Did not see but would love to see the comments as one and all pounced. He was stupid to start but wised up quickly. Next time maybe he'll proofread and fact-check his post. How do we know...HA! Perhaps they were there to protect the elephants from poachers? Nah, you got it right the first time. He's an idiot.

Shooting this beautiful animal for what? Some Ivory. People really suck. Obviously not all, but some. Props to meds for helping that big gentle beast.

Governments in Africa charge for this kind of stuff, so they can legally shoot. They then use the money to save others

@gerard Gerard What? I thought the whole point of being called a 'poacher' is that they kill for profit? Poaching wouldn't exactly be a first choice of a job if their economy was better. It sort of offends me people living in comfort keeps criticizing poor people making bad choices on how they make money to feed themselves. The real problem is the demand for the animal parts...
