Muay Lek is enjoying her first mud bath as the monsoon season begins in earnest, granting the mud pit a new life. MuayLek seems nervous to lie down as if she never had opportunity to play in the mud before. ThongAe and Faa Mai showed her what to do. Confidence gained, she threw herself into the muddy mess with abandon. A great conversation was had at the end of the play. I think at the end there she was telling Thong Ae, "Hurry up, we're going now. C'mon." It's so wonderful to see the life that is opening up for her now. All she needs is a nanny I think. FaaMai can't take on the full responsibility for MuayLek, she needs to be free to socialize and visit other herds, but a full time nanny can provide MuayLek with stability. Now we just need her to accept someone other than FaaMai! 🥰🐘

I love that Faa Mae is showering Muay Lek with mothering. Precious girl is only 7 and still a baby herself and was ripped away from her mama and family. I’m so happy she is getting loving, motherly attention from Faa Mae and others. She so deserves it!!!!🐘💖
