I want to root for the rat deck, but you went the easy route with the Rat Colony. There are so many dope Rats. Would’ve loved to see some diversity

Thrummingstone Relentless Rats is such a cheap strat that I have a sideboard of alternate rats to swap in when I dont wanna be lame

I’m gonna say as a person who went from 20 of them to 1, then back up to 13 Rat Colonies, that most rats are filtered by if they are better or worse than the spam. Pack Rat, Bloodline Pretender, and Voracious Vermin might be the only comparable options. Karumonix, Lord Skitter, and Ashcoat are stand outs that could probably be commanders in their own right, so they get included over extra Colony’s. Wave of Rats is cool, but it’s combo with Marrow Gnawer is expensive when you should just be comboing with aristocrats, holding tension and then going for a kill swing with Cover of Darkness in play in case Marrow is sniped, a far better strat than chipping here and there. I’ve removed Gnat/Locust Miser, various ninjutsu users, including Ink Eyes, Nashi, and Patron of the Nezumi. Typhoid Rats, Stronghold Rats, and various other hate pieces for graveyard and hand, even the original double cards. Rat Colony is good, period… heck once you sacrifice a Rat Colony, even Necrotic Ooze is better than most other rats, and actually benefits from board wipes. Dino DNA on a Rat Colony is game changing late game and can bring you back into the game against a pillow fort+indestructible blocker.

Ah Marrow Gnawer. My experience is you either get no land or nothing but land. Rarely an in-between

Hallowed moonlight prevents the creatures not cast from entering right? So the blinking and any other creatures not cast would be exiled right, or am I buggin? 🤔

Ajdin shouldve made 7 5/3s not 14. Im gonna guess that got mixed up because of zuran orb gaining two life per land, but it had minimal impact on the games outcome overall.

It never occurred to me that Breya being an attack trigger would get (as the kids would say) whacky on the stacky. Love the list, Foley.

Foley cheated ooooo. Path came in tapped and he still scryed even though he can’t use it.
@profdouglas1392 Жыл бұрын
It’s funny cause they also “created” a trigger, Foley’s path should have entered untapped due to an enemy elesh norn disabling etb triggers, including lands entering tapped. The path oversight was also pointed out in game, but it’s hard to undo a scry

@@profdouglas1392 that's not how it works. I'd advise talking to a judge for a detailed explanation
