I remember Rico describing the sound of Rivermaya by comparing it to ice scramble. You don't know what's in it but it just taste soo good. It still holds true to this day. Rico's music and creativity is untouchable.

I've known your band during my elementary years or early high school.I don't know your songs back then.But I knew you as a popular member of Rivermaya when your handsome face was always flashed on TV.During my younger years I knew no other Filipino band, only Rivermaya. Fast forward, growing up, I'm fascinated or even obsessed with 214 and You'll Be Safe Here due to musicality, beautiful choice of words and meaning ful message. Elise has been my favorite .It inspired me during the discouraging times of my professional career. However, I did not care who was the genius who wrote or sung those songs but I can listen to them all day.Until recently I saw a vlog about you and remembering as Mr. Rico Blanco, the handsome vocalist of Rivermaya, I search videos about you and found out that you are the genius, the composer and also one of the singers of my all time favorite songs. This only concludes how beautiful your music is in a listeners perspective without bias.Sir I really appreciate your talent and your masterpieces.Would you be pleased to write a song about a woman, who has not been in relationship for 7 years, sometimes it feels fine but sometimes, she get bored seeing lovers and years past by her wondering what life have been and will be through time.
