I've been a drummer for over 35 years, I rarely make KZbin comments, but I have to say this man is the cleanest percussionist I have ever seen. Your limb independence, the beat subdivision, and again the cleanliness you keep in your grooves while traversing your kits is awe-inspiring. I for one have certainly found a few new things to strive for in my practice routines because of your videos. Most importantly, I am truly eager to see the next generation of drummers you inspire from your videos, and what astounding performances they might achieve when they incorporate your techniques and perhaps go beyond what we see here. Please never stop, you are an inspiration to drummers around the world!

Agreed. I’ve also been playing since I was 3 and I’ll b 40 years. He makes everything look so easy. Sometimes it is fairly basic technique-wise (super fast singles/doubles/hertas). But then he starts pulling out 4 way limb independence and adding (extra) ghost notes to flipping meshuggah and AAL songs like it’s no big deal. Then he does it with one hand drinking “coffee”. And smoking “cigarettes”

As someone who has been lucky enough to play and teach (at a very mild level), the thing that amazes me is that no matter how many notes he plays, it never feels 'too busy'. It really can’t be overstated that Siberiano is clearly getting better and better with each video. It’s one thing to be able to hold a groove…but it’s a whole other thing to blend so many techniques into a two minute track and add crazy stick razzle-dazzle without missing a single accent or beat. This guy is one of those generation-defining drummers who only comes around once a decade, if we’re lucky. He’s a masterful showman, but above that, he’s an extremely technical artist. Fucking hell man…he’s literally Buddy Rich good. He’s literally reinventing drumming. It’s a joke how good he is. Tight as you can be, but somehow still has so much groove (even when playing mechanical sounding parts), unrivalled technical ability, flair, showmanship and impossibly on top of all that still hits hard with what looks like no effort. Never seen anyone make playing drums look so easy! Truly believe we are bearing witness to an all time great.

The stick handling for those two spare sticks, not just the transfer but also the drop when you're done using them... So slick! And the drumming itself, on point as always!

@satvrn7007you’re missing the point, what’s he’s doing is something no one has ever done, is he the greatest drummer? I would say as far as skill and technique he is, now as far as musical choice that’s a personal preference, he leans more towards metal which is more of a physical challenge. I would like to see some Jazz fusion along the lines of Weckl, but I’m sure he can do it, and when he does you might change your mind.

As a percussionist, dude is actively teaching me what it means to be dedicated. He reminds me what it truly means to put in the time for your passion and your livelihood, as he said in his semi-autobiography, sometimes it's just the desire to perfect a craft, not the craft itself.
