I love how you guys are going all out! I play on a high school team and those players don't really play volleyball. It feels like most people are uninterested and are therefore noncompetitive. The other players don't let me serve and just toss the ball over as a free ball. Then when we play against a school with good servers we don't know how to handle it. It's all very frustrating but I practice as hard as I can nonetheless.

The block timing is really hard when you are shorter than the enemy's spiker

Hey can you share tips on how to teach rotation to a team
@nashjewels39612 жыл бұрын
. . . . I've been training my running vertical to do half as good as these blocks. . . . I sense a long way up ahead tho. And yes, running vertical would take me higher than standing, but it requires a lot of timing.

What volleyball shoes were you wearing and do you recommend them?

how is there so much power and speed on the pipe hits? i've been trying but it doesn't feel the same.

I recently went up for a jump serve and felt a sudden pain in the shoulder I swung with. Now the shoulder has been hurting everytime I swing for a spike. There are also sudden episodes of pain when I put my shoulders back to set backwards. Is this a common injury? Or should I get it checked out? I'd really like some advice from people who've played the game for a while since they probably have experience with these types of injuries

Haven't played volleyball for long, but I'm an active fencer. By the sound of it, you may have strained a joint or tendon. I'd recommend taking a while off from most strenuous activity involving that arm until the pain subsides. If it's persistent after a week or two, see a doctor.

^ Also check your arm swing. Bow and arrow is injury prone and I recommend switching to circular.

@@naymorningstar If you don't mind me asking I know about Bow and arrow in regards to form - but what is circular?
