My 11month old baby boy and I start our mornings with you every. single. day. He loves banging on pots, pans, bowls, boxes, tables, my face (haha), anything he can! Recently we got him a steel tongue drum which he is loving! One day, I will invest in a handpan for him as well. Recently he has become very good at copying a beat I do, and he sings (yells) as he drums, it is so precious. Other times he will sit and stare and listen to your music very intently, I can see him being moved deeply by your rhythm. It moves me too, in my heart and in my soul. Thank you for offering your gifts of music to us all. You fill our mornings and start our day with magick, meditation, and endless inspiration. Your music is medicine for the world. Really, it is a great gift and skill you are in clear devotion to. Your pieces are like sacred ceremony and your body a temple that channels clear divine energy through these instruments, weaving the most soul-full sounds we have heard in a long time. I often am transported to the environments in which you play with your music, as if you are channelling the spirit of the direct natural environment you are in at certain times. It's as though you give a voice of music to the elements that surround you when you play. At other times we experience the pure expression of your heart, of your soul, of the mergence of those forces with other musicians you co-create with, like entire universes birthing between you. Other times of pure life force energy dancing through. Universal energy. Got one of this and put into my room. Every time a kid runs into the room and trying to bang on it I get nice pleasing sound, and quite calming for me and for the kid too. All diatonic instrument have this ability, but this one is quite simple, sturdy and easy to play even without musical education.
