The Trillex Me too. I'll root around sometimes looking for a decent tutorial, but so few of them are done by someone with such humility and patience. I've probably shared at least half of your videos with my guitarist.

Sure thing, Peter. I believe that the Lord is going to open a door for you in order to expand your ministry into an area greater than you have hoped. May you enter into this new season of promise with His wisdom and fullness of joy.

Steve W Thank you for that word! I receive it! Honestly it's a bit of a hobby. I'm actually the worship pastor (and main guitarist) at my church - but I love training & helping other worship guitarists and helping to equip worship teams. Bless you brother

Wow. Amazing tutorial. Most of them are like here is the part watch me play it here's the next part. You actually break it down and get into where each finger goes and what strings. Amazing. God bless. Keep up good work. Subscribed for sure.

You're such a good teacher and an amazing guitar player. I just bought a guitar and I just started learning. I hope to join a worship team one day. I just want to let you know that your channel has been an inspiration. God bless you.

By far one of the best teachers out there. Long video doesn't seem that long when you meticulously go over each part . I can tell that you want the watcher to "get it".

You are the man bro! I have guitar knowledge, but new to worship. I was scared to death to play on stage in front of the church playing songs I never knew. Don't know what it may be like if I never found this channel. Thank you and God bless man!

2:30 - you could also say that it is actually a Bm chord, with the b as the root and the d and the high other than that, good job

Hi God bless you, I need to do this same, but the version that sings eunice rodriguez in lakewood, takes other notes (choro: C G D, bridge: C D Em Bm) Could you help me by passing tab or showing how it is done?

I have to play this song in the key of F (female vocalists). What's the easiest way to transpose Kevin's parts in this song? great tones by the way!
@petemalins7 жыл бұрын
Brian Fisher The easiest way would be to put a capo on the 3rd fret and still play the original shapes & riffs - but move everything 3 frets higher. Does that make sense?
@petemalins7 жыл бұрын
Brian Fisher The original song is in D, so when you capo the 3rd fret and play a D chord shape there, it is actually now an F chord
@brianfisher61497 жыл бұрын
Thanks Peter, I was trying to avoid the capo but it does seem to be the easiest method. I ended up moving up 3 frets as suggested. Appreciate you and all you do to help others become better worshipers bro!
@petemalins7 жыл бұрын
Brian Fisher Thanks so much for the encouragement! It's my pleasure! Often I find the easiest solution is to use the capo if you want to play the same guitar parts - but yeah of course it never quite sounds as good as the open positions. I always love it when our singers can sing a song in the original key
@petemalins7 жыл бұрын
Brian Fisher PS. Our female singers normally do this song in G, so I have to capo on the 5th fret!
