Thanks be to God for His mercy, for we all have "cut corners" at one point or another. The major way we "cut corners" is not giving heed to the Word "not by might nor by power but by my Spirit, says the LORD." Jesus didn't cut corners, he said "nevertheless not My will but Your's be done."

What an awesome sermon. I really needed to hear this Elevation Church. I have been cutting corners left and right in my process to gain God's will. I knew it was wrong, but I wanted to speed up the process. I no longer will be cutting corners, will strengthen my faith, and know God's timing for my plan is a lot better than my own.

Wow that spoke directly to various situations in my life. Enduring through the process and actually experiencing what God wants you to learn is a life changing opportunity that strengthens and provides growth. We live in a time and day where comparison and competition is so prevalent due to social media exposure, which is why everyone ends up losing morals in exchange for fame and popularity in order to attain instantaneous success. But as believers in christ, we have to remember-it's God's way or no way at all; there is no room for cutting corner because He who began a good work will complete it. Amen
