I'm also struggling to try to get both of my boys to help me around the house and show them it will make all of us happy. It's not easy anymore but I give everything to Jesus and he will always help us.

So needed to hear this. From today on I will starve those things ( insecurities, doubts, etc) that are not of God. For I am HIS daughter and I serve a Mighty God. HE will strengthen me, give me grace, wisdom and discernment. In Jesus name I pray! Amen

I suffered with crippling anxiety in the past. Try forcing yourself in the shower next time or soak in a bath. It was the only thing I found that reset my central nervous system. I pray it helps you too.

I’ve never heard a mega church, non-denominational/undercover baptist preacher say “I’ve been saved, I’m being saved, and I will be saved.” That’s pretty good theological rhetoric and actually scriptural since we are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. It actually opposes the once saved always saved belief.

25:49 I have an issue with a pastor who cusses in the middle of a sermon. He said "frickin" which is the same as saying the "F" word itself. It's cussing without using the actual cuss word and today's society has become far too comfortable with this. Especially, ESPECIALLY from a pastor during a sermon. I am not ok with this at all. I don't care how anyone wants to speak at home, at work, at school, at the gym, whatever, but if you're a pastor this type of word should not be in your vocabulary at all. You are in a position of authority and you are held to a higher standard. Shame on you for cussing on stage during church, try to control yourself...please. And trust me the Bible doesnt need any additions it stands on its own. I'm so disappointed and this has turned me off to this church completely.

Oh oh … what is that word ‘fr…ing’ that comes into the speech? Speaking the truth in love, I encourage reflection on this and understand how it is a colloquialism for a more foul word, yet is by association equivalent. Please understand this is not a judgement - instead an insight to respond to in line with the counsel of the Word . Our speech must grow to be pure and separate itself from worldly terminology, remembering it reflects what is in our heart. I share this acknowledging we all grow at different times and all fall short of the glory of God.
