I (Brandon black) actually got arrested for praising God last week in my church parking lot. @st. John the Baptist Catholic Church parking lot I was praising the word and studying in my truck after service was over one night. The police received a call about a suspicious vehicle. Upon the police pulling up I was pulled out of my vehicle, questioned searched then I was slammed face down on the concrete arrested shot with a taser while handcuffed then thrown in jail for resisting arrest only. I'm out now I paid 500$ bail im awaiting trial. I forgave the officers but I can't let the department get away with it. I'm counter sueing for pain and suffering and to get my charge dropped.

I have been battling a lot these past few days and months quite frankly. Everything you mentioned in this sermon: comparing my foundation to someone else's finale, focusing too much on what has left and not what is coming, consistently being distracted by satan to keep me from seeing the glory of God... You mentioned all of that in this sermon. These past days, I have not been keeping up with your sermons as I had used to but today before I opened my laptop to watch one that related most to what I was going through, I said a slight prayer in hopes that I wouldn't need to scroll too far to find the one that would speak to me and my situation. When I clicked on the account videos, the most recent post "Stop Crying, Its Coming" was the one for me. The one God wanted me to see. I felt deeply moved and today I can shout " I will stop reminiscing over the past and focus on the future which will only be better than what has already left". Amen !

Wow…. I am speechless. This message was definitely on time. My grandma passed away from COVID. Felt like I got punched in the chest. She was my best friend, other than my mom. Other things, like health problems and “people” have made 2021 super hard. But like Pastor Steven said, which is one of my fave scriptures, “there is a time for everything….a time to mourn.” “Sometimes we have to dance even while wiping the tears away.” Im human. Im learning to push through this through Christ, but being honest, it’s so hard. I just need the Lord. I need Him.

God wants me to rebuild my temple. My heart and spirit are where they need to be, but my physical temple isn't strong. He essentially called me "lazy-bones" because I don't work hard for what I want. I have sadly just settled into expecting things without working for it. In prayer, He reminded me of this. If I want what I'm asking Him for (future husband), I need to show Him that I am willing to meet Him half-way to increase my self-confidence. I need to put in the work, so I can receive the fruit of my vinyard. He knows my heart, and knows that I've been praying and waiting for this blessing for years...but He also knows that I've not put the time in to better myself. This changes now so I can receive His promise.
