This is my testimony. This video was uploaded 2 years ago, but just yesterday 12/1/20, I was laying in my bed, crying into my pillow, and talking to God. This may sound insignificant and common, but to me it meant the world. God showed me mercy and spoke to me through this video. I have “Significance” as a Top strength based on Gallup CliftonStrengths… it has always been in my heart to naturally make a big impact. I have tied it to my purpose, but after this sermon I have realized that I have to tie it to Jesus’s purpose used through me. I often feel the need to be defined by people, and this message has just reminded me of how Christ wants me to be significant. I stepped out of the boat and it was horrible. I often behave like Peter, but through Christ grace, He is filling in the gaps in His time. Thank you Pastor Steven, I was at such a low place, but now I don’t smell the smoke! Its interesting that what Ps Steven mentioned that where Jesus said to Peter get behind me satan. Its so interesting, that the devil tried by working through Peter, whom Jesus called the rock to " stop" or to encourage Jesus not to proceed to die for the world, how much more harder will he not work, and spread challenges before us, so that we might lose focus. I feel god alot of times gives us dreams of the future. Most people when the dream comes true call it dejevu. Never stop learning. You can spend an eternity with god and still not know everything. Amen if life is hard your doing something right. If it's easy Satan's keeping you happy. Satan has attacked me so many times through my brokenness and mental illness. I finally realized I should be reading the Bible and standing on gods word. And I finally beat it. But Satan sent so many people to destroy me. I'm an overcomer!! God is my defender and provider all along. I thank God for my life and have the peace of God now! Could Peter swim I wonder? Amen I'm in the dark mostly but going to keep reaching out and following Lord Jesus! Through the storm. I'm am one person that had an abuser that exposed and inflated everything I did wrong. When the whole world walked away god stayed. Amen the god who stays. He's in the boat!! Store up the treasures in heaven. Nothing on earth matters material wise. Congrats on your billboard nominations!! Amen treasure is alot of people learning from your songs!! My chains are gone I've been set free! I am of the belief absolutely everything means something to god. Sieze the day! I am one person that can honestly say I have no pride I'm humble. I think god saved me to be a blessing to others. I am in and have been in a dark place of denial and addiction.i lost my 22 yr old daughter on nov.3 2018.and I have lost my faith.i know my wife and other daughter need me.i pray to my lord that he will give me the strength to get threw this.i just cannot see it happening.
