This dude needs to be more well known. He has chops but knows exactly where to use them, super musical and precise.

@@maximgvozdetskiy5884 I guess it really takes great chemistry as a band to pull off something like that and pull it off very well! It goes really beyond music I believe, and in this context, being able to catch the ball is so important as a musician, serving God through our gifts and talents and transforming lives with it. :)

Maxim Gvozdetskiy I understand your question, I wanna know too- as an MD I've been able to get us back in the right spot with Ableton by mapping the advance/backward buttons to keys but Ableton finishes the measure you're in before going to the marker you choose so I wouldn't know about a half measure like what happened in this instance

Never thought I’d see the day Vince messes up on a song, but this is proof that he is human like us. 😂 Love this guy. 🖤 (2:37) and (5:10) At 2:37, he made more of a correction than a save, hitting the crash slightly too soon, but we’ll recovery. At 5:10, that was more of a save as he hit cymbals for the beginning of the break down instead of just toms, but kept the pattern the same throughout the remainder of the breakdown. Nice save. Sounded amazing. This guy never disappoints. I’m sure he’s perfected this song by now, but I like Dom’s version a bit better. 😁

Man I'd really love to know how they have that snare trigger set up. He's clickin' on that rim and there are no false triggers, but it looks like he's rimshotting on the downbeats. I feel like I'm having to choose between rimshotting or using triggers because when I play with that exact trigger the rimshots absolutely screw up what the trigger detects.
@isaiahharrison67323 жыл бұрын
the triggers are used for gates, not for samples. and i’m assuming that he’s used a Single Trigger instead of Dual? i have no idea lol
@gaigewilderdrums3 жыл бұрын
@@isaiahharrison6732 It's definitely possible but in my experience it isn't that hard to reduce other noises from the snare mic (outside maybe the hats) without triggers for gating.
