DieselDucy. Have you seen a botton like that before?

"That's not Electrodyn, that's Dover!!!" "CALL IT DOVER TOUCH, NOT ELECTRODYN!!!!!!!" This is what some one who doesn't know about Electrodyn would say, some would probably even DEMAND that it be called Dover Touch saying Electrodyn doesn't exist. Nice button though

There is another way that you might consider experimenting when it comes to wiring parts up. Apparently, there are some batteries called A23 and A27, which are actually 12 volts, and I've also seen some battery holders for the A23/A27 batteries in both single (12v) and double (24v) capacities. So I wonder if you could try out some elevator parts with the 12 volt A23/A27 batteries and make the bulbs light up on single 12 and double 24 volt capacities.

Yeah those will work as well! (They just cost more)
@CenTexElevators4894 жыл бұрын
@@stlelevators I know they are more expensive and less common, but 12 to 24 volts can be just as safe (and just as efficient as well).
@TXMNElevators6 жыл бұрын
I'm surprised these aren't more common because people are always looking for cheaper stuff..

I don’t think they are made anymore lol

The contact block of that is similar to the concave OTIS Series 4 Luxury fixtures, which people often believe are touch-sensitive, but are not.
@BigKitty10115 жыл бұрын
Otis did make and patent these specific concave touch buttons. They weren't used very often, but you can find some installations that still have them.

similar mechanism to kone k-delta buttons. one large plastic piece, pressing onto some kind of contact thing.

Though I bet the kone ones are way better built.

I don't know if they even sell them anymore.

Although this is one of the most unique looking buttons you've collected, I think this is one of everyone's least favorite buttons, because of the pathetic form of circuit board contact assembly.
@stlelevators6 жыл бұрын
Yeah its one of those buttons that are really awesome because they are rare, but also crappy because of how cheap it is.

This button is cursed.

@@stlelevators yes i forgot the 1 I just got an older series 1 call button so that is why i want u 2 wire one up

I don’t have any older series one buttons to made a video on right now, but I have it on my list of videos. If I ever get one I will definitely make a video on it!
