Brooke, I hope you see this. First, I've been playing and teaching for decades, so I do know what I'm talking about when I say - your technique is perfect. You have excellent power and precision, meaning, you hit the drums correctly, in the center and you always look relaxed and very confident... both attributes are the hallmarks of an excellent musician. You really should send this to the management for Primus. Don't be surprised if you get the gig. Their music is very difficult to play with all the weird time signatures and off beat passages. This video is as good as it gets. I've been watching you for years now, since you were about 13... and you are well on your way... keep going with it. I'll be cheering you on.

@t-man5196 Given the fact that they're called ghost notes for reason. Most people don't realize they're being played. So the answer to your question is no. Not all people love those notes. But I do find solace and knowing that you do.

Definitely one of my favorites, and they titled it for real music aficionado, and musicians who will get it. I’ve seen Primus a handful of times, but only saw this song when they did the tour where the played Seas of Cheese in it’s entirety. Funny watching people try to “dance” to this one because of the odd 11/8 time signature. There was a guy a few rows in front of us who almost fell over 3 times because of it.😂

I've watched quite a few of these auditions from various drummers but your's is the only one I've commented on. This is the tightest audition for Primus that I've seen so far. Solid execution while tossing in your own flare, without losing the feel of the song even a little. Not to mention serious pocket held down the entire performance and no ego playing, just the pure joy of musicianship .. Badass dude, you would be an excellent addition to Primus. I'll be dissapointed if you don't get the gig.
