Brooke, I hope you see this. First, I've been playing and teaching for decades, so I do know what I'm talking about when I say - your technique is perfect. You have excellent power and precision, meaning, you hit the drums correctly, in the center and you always look relaxed and very confident... both attributes are the hallmarks of an excellent musician. You really should send this to the management for Primus. Don't be surprised if you get the gig. Their music is very difficult to play with all the weird time signatures and off beat passages. This video is as good as it gets. I've been watching you for years now, since you were about 13... and you are well on your way... keep going with it. I'll be cheering you on.

I’ve seen tons of Primus “auditions” and this was top of the list. Not only is your technique phenomenal but you understand that with the previous drummer it’s more about feel and groove as opposed to timing. I've watched quite a few of these auditions from various drummers but your's is the only one I've commented on. This is the tightest audition for Primus that I've seen so far. Solid execution while tossing in your own flare, without losing the feel of the song even a little. Not to mention serious pocket held down the entire performance and no ego playing, just the pure joy of musicianship .. Badass dude, you would be an excellent addition to Primus. I'll be dissapointed if you don't get the gig.

As I have spent at least a month watching so many of the audition videos for the Primus gig, a huge group of them have been highly enjoyable and downright amazing. Along the way I've hoped Brooke C would submit one herself. I think she would be a great pick. She has a high level of chops, and over the years she has shown how much she has grown into a fantastic musician. Besides the fact, she has real-world experience on professional stages touring professionally. Rich history over the last 13+ years for sure. Here's hoping she at least makes the cut for the shortlist. I can only imagine the workload Primus and management have to soon make to create said shortlist at this point. It's been fun and energizing to see KZbin FINALLY be used in such a broad sense for something so relevant and interesting. All the best to EVERYONE who has submitted and to you Brooke C.
