@@defaultuser9273Don't act as if 95% of metalcore screams are just fry screams which is the first thing anyone would teach you. It isn't false chord or even anywhere diaphragm based, metalcore isn't some super heavy genre, they're glorified pop metal.

@@theonlyone992 While I agree regarding the fry screams, metal metalcore bands tend to vary in terms of heaviness with vocals. Some bands are "pop metal" as you've said like Wage War, Memphis May Fire, and Beartooth, but bands like Converge, Knocked Loose and Crystal Lake tend to lean more towards extreme metal than typical heavy metal. Then there are the bands that tend to incorporate both sides of the spectrum in their sounds like BMTH, Make Them Suffer, and Spiritbox. Honestly, I think that Jonny has shown enough range, especially after looking at his live performance of Spirits, that he might be able to pull off a metalcore album. It would probably be on the lighter side of the spectrum, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
