Ah you might have caught me out. I think they were ropes I had tied to the handline I was fishing with so I didn't lose it if I caught a fish, and the solar shower which was lying down there too. Cockpit looks a bit of a mess, probably because I was bored waiting for wind and fiddling with things to pass the time :)
